How sintered metal tube works?
The sintered metal tube allows fluid to pass through in a linear fashion. However, the fluid entering from one end of the tube contains a significant amount of contaminants. As the fluid flows through the tube, a pressure drop occurs due to the low speed at which the fluid is passing through the small pores of the tube.
This prolonged passage of fluid through the tube causes larger contaminants to be left behind while the clean fluid passes through to the other end. To remove the contaminants from the tube, the backwash method can be employed. This involves forcing the contaminants out of the tube through the point of entry. The clean fluid exits the sintered metal tube at the opposite end.
