Spinning Tungsten Crucible

It refers to the tungsten crucible produced by spinning forming. 

Tungsten steel billets are first made by powder metallurgy, then rolled into thin sheets of design thickness by the hot rolling process, and then processed into discs.  Which were then placed on a hot spinning machine. After many rotations, the tungsten plate takes the shape of a crucible. After cooling, the spinning tungsten crucible was obtained.

The production process of forging tungsten crucible:

1. The density of blank is generally 90% ~ 95%.

2. The prepared tungsten rod is heated in a hydrogen furnace for a period of time, and then the blank is forged.  

3. Annealing processing.

Sintering Tungsten Crucible

The main factors for cracking of sintered tungsten crucible include pressing pressure, powder mixing, and the size of the round corner at the bottom of the die core.

The production process of sintered tungsten crucibles:

1. Process the mould according to the size requirements, but the tungsten powder material that meets the requirements into the mould, seal it and put it into the cold isostatic press for pressing. 

2. The blank is sintered in the high-temperature induction sintering furnace.  The heating rate is 80 ~ 150℃/h, the highest temperature is 2200 ~ 2400℃, and the holding time is 4 ~ 8h.  

3. The blank shall be processed according to the finished product. 

4. Check the appearance of the finished product.

Using:

Because the melting point of tungsten is as high as 3410℃, the Tungsten crucible has the characteristics of high purity, no internal crack, high density, smooth inside and outside, accurate size, and so on. Which plays a key role in the success rate of seed crystal, the quality control of drawing crystal, the decrystallization stick pot, and the service life of sapphire crystal growth.
