In China, significant advancements have been made in the application of titanium alloys. From the early stages with the J-10 fighter jet to the subsequent J11 series aircraft, the proportion of titanium alloys in aircraft structures has steadily increased. This progression not only enhances overall aircraft performance but also propels technological advancements within the country's aerospace industry. Furthermore, titanium alloys find widespread applications in aerospace products such as fuel tanks, projectile structures, and fasteners. To further promote the use of titanium alloys in the aerospace industry, China has established comprehensive aerospace titanium alloy standards. These standards encompass various aspects including research and development, production, inspection, and application of titanium alloys, providing robust support for their extensive utilization.
While acknowledging existing disparities in the application proportion and technological proficiency of titanium alloys compared to developed nations, China remains confident in narrowing this gap gradually. With the continuous growth of the titanium industry and the enhancement of economic capabilities, there is a firm belief that China will occupy a more prominent position in the global aerospace industry in the future.
