0.5–1μm SS316L Porous Mesh Iron Ion Filter is a porous filter made from metal powder sintered at high temperature, featuring stable pore size, excellent mechanical strength, and corrosion resistance. In liquid media, free iron ions (Fe²⁺/Fe³⁺) tend to form insoluble particles like iron hydroxide or iron oxide under oxidation or pH changes. These fine, dispersed particles are difficult to remove with conventional filters and may cause secondary contamination in high-purity processes. The sintered wire mesh efficiently captures iron particles sized 0.5–1 micron, reducing iron content and improving process stability and product quality.
For systems requiring strict iron ion control, sintered wire mesh serves as a key pre- or mid-stage filter. It supports continuous and closed-loop operation due to its resistance to high temperature, pressure, and repeated cleaning. Its porous metal structure enables deep filtration with stable flow and low pressure drop, effectively extending system operation cycles. This material is a reliable solution for controlling iron contamination in liquid systems where long-term iron ion concentration management is critical.

1. High-efficiency iron ion particle interception
Using 0.5~1 micron precise pore size, gradient sintering structure effectively captures iron oxide particles (such as Fe₂O₃, Fe₃O₄), the filtration efficiency can reach more than 99%, significantly reducing the impact of iron ion precipitation on the system.
2. Excellent corrosion resistance
Using 316L stainless steel material, it can withstand acidic wastewater containing chloride ions and pH value ≥3. The surface of the filter element is electrolytically polished to reduce particle adhesion and prevent secondary pollution.

3. Low resistance design, extended service life
The porous sintering network structure disperses the particle load, the initial pressure difference is less than 0.05MPa (5m³/h flow), supports repeated acid washing and ultrasonic cleaning, and the recovery rate exceeds 85%, ensuring that the filter element life can reach 2-3 years.
4. Accurate iron content control
The iron content in the outlet water can be controlled below 0.1ppm, the filter element structure is stable, there is no fiber shedding, to ensure the purity of the liquid, and avoid the secondary organic pollution that may be caused by traditional filter materials.

Nuclear Industry High Purity Fluid Filtration
316L stainless steel has good radiation resistance, and the 1-micron filtration accuracy can effectively intercept radioactive suspended particles in nuclear power plant cooling water and nuclear fuel reprocessing, ensuring fluid purity.
Semiconductor Etching Liquid Regeneration
Used to recycle hydrofluoric acid/nitric acid mixed etching liquid, filter out metal ion polymers of 0.5 microns and above, extend the service life of the etching liquid, and ensure no metal pollution.
Aviation Hydraulic Oil Filtration

Maintenance and Cleaning Guide

To maintain optimal filtering performance and extend the filter element's service life, regular cleaning is recommended. The 316L stainless steel filter supports acid pickling and ultrasonic cleaning methods. Acid pickling with 5% citric or dilute nitric acid effectively removes rust and impurities, while ultrasonic cleaning enhances particle removal.
Depending on operating conditions and water quality, cleaning should be performed every 3-6 months, or sooner if flow decreases or pressure difference rises. Regular maintenance ensures system stability, prevents equipment failure, and avoids contamination from iron deposits.
