Products Application

1. Filtration/Separation of Liquid and Gas

The ability of TOPTITECH filters to completely or partially eliminate particulate contaminants from a liquid or gaseous media. Particulate matter can comprise undesired chemical and biological contaminants as well as suspended particles (sediment, metal chips, salt, etc.). It can also include algae, bacteria, fungal spores, and bacteria. Pore diameters in capstan filters range from 0.2 m to 100 um.

A gas is introduced into a liquid during sparging. It is used to either strip away a dissolved volatile liquid or an undesired dissolved gas (oxygen stripping). Moreover, a gas can be introduced into a liquid using it (carbonization). Traditionally, sparging produced 6 mm-diameter bubbles. Even lower bubble diameters are possible with TOPTITECH filter sparging, which increases the bubbles' surface area and speeds up the sparging process.

3. Breathing Ports

In cylinders, gearboxes, manifolds, hydraulic systems, reservoirs, and other systems, TOPTITECH filters are frequently employed as breathing vents. Breather vents let air or gas flow into and out of a system while keeping particulates from getting inside and allowing for pressure equalization. Metal filters have a longer lifespan as a breather vent than other filter media because they may be backwashed to remove particulate particles.

5. Flow Control

An air, gas, vacuum, and fluid flow system can use TOPTITECH filters to regulate flow. The filter's homogeneous pore sizes provide constant, repeatable flow management and can shield downstream components like sensors, valves, and other components from pollutants. Pneumatic clocks, gas supply control components, and time delay components are a few examples of applications where flow control is applied.

6. Exhaust mufflers

TOPTITECH filters can function as an exhaust silencer by being sinter-bonded to any necessary fitting. In addition to preventing pollutants from entering the system and damaging solenoids and manifolds, the filter also helps to reduce exhaust noise. Also, the exhaust silencer filters reduce the volume of air being blown out of the system, which reduces pollutants drifting and safeguards adjacent equipment.

7. Pressure/Flow Equalization

The flow rate and pressure in a system can be equalized and controlled with TOPTITECH filters. Equalization protects systems against a rush of liquid and creates a steady flow as the gas or liquid travels across the even pores.
