This product is a 316L stainless steel powder sintered filter disc with a filtration rating of 10 micrometers, an outer diameter of 65 mm, and a thickness of 10 mm. It is manufactured using high-purity 316L stainless steel powder through a process of die compaction followed by high-temperature sintering. The edge is precision-machined via turning, resulting in a smooth, burr-free surface. This sintering technique creates uniform and interconnected micropores throughout the disc, ensuring both high particle capture efficiency and excellent mechanical strength.


The molybdenum content in 316L provides outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis, and chloride-rich environments, preventing pitting or intergranular corrosion. The turned edge improves sealing compatibility during installation and reduces the risk of secondary contamination from edge fragmentation. Overall, this filter disc achieves a strong balance between high-precision filtration and structural durability.

Excellent Corrosion and Temperature Resistance
316L stainless steel offers outstanding resistance to acids, alkalis, and salt spray, enabling long-term operation across a wide pH range. Additionally, the sintered metal structure can withstand elevated temperatures (typically up to 600°C or higher in oxidizing atmospheres, depending on conditions), making it suitable for filtering high-temperature fluids or gases.

The die compaction and sintering process gives the disc high compressive and flexural strength, minimizing the risk of cracking or collapse. Thanks to its uniform and well-connected pore channels, the disc can be regenerated using ultrasonic cleaning, backwashing, or chemical methods. Unlike surface-type filter media, the depth-filtration structure offers greater dirt-holding capacity, extending the interval between cleaning cycles.

Used for precision filtration of high-viscosity polymer melts, catalyst particles, solvents, and corrosive liquids to remove mechanical impurities and reaction residues, thereby protecting downstream pumps, valves, and reactors and reducing unplanned shutdowns.

Employed as terminal or pre-filtration elements in active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) purification, Water for Injection (WFI), and gas sterilization.
