Flat-Rolled Porous Metal Sheets is a kind of material with excellent filtration performance, which is usually made by metal powder rolling.  Powder rolling is a process of directly rolling metal material with metal powder as raw material. First, the strip is rolled on the powder mill and then sintered, cold rolled (or hot rolled), and annealed to make the dense or porous finished strip. 

The Flat-Rolled Porous Metal Sheets made of titanium metal powder have the excellent corrosion resistance of titanium, can resist the erosion of various concentrations of nitric acid and most of the acid and alkali solution, and has the advantages of non-toxic, high-temperature resistance, high strength, high porosity, even air permeability, and easy cleaning. 

Ozone treatment of drinking water and industrial wastewater is a rapidly developing technology in recent years.  This kind of method: put ozone evenly into sewage through a porous plate, produce a chemical reaction with sewage, and achieves the purpose of disinfection, color and purification thereby.  

Therefore, the porous plate is required to be resistant to industrial sewage and ozone corrosion and has a high porosity and gas, evenly distributed aperture, and a certain strength.  In some units of sewage treatment by ozone method in China, polyvinyl chloride porous plate, ceramic porous plate, glass porous plate, and other materials have been used in the past, but they cannot meet the requirements because of poor corrosion resistance and low strength. A porous titanium plate solves this big problem.  

At present, porous titanium plate has been used as ozone diffusion plate in sewage treatment of printing film, organic dye wastewater treatment, oil refining wastewater treatment, hospital wastewater treatment, and rocket engine test sewage treatment.  In the treatment of film wastewater, the original use of polyvinyl chloride porous plate, the service life of only 350 hours, replaced by porous titanium plate service life increased to 3 years.  In the ozone treatment of oil refining wastewater, PVC perforated plate was used originally, but the ozone absorption rate was only 65%, which wasted a lot of ozone and increased the cost of wastewater treatment. After using a porous titanium plate, the ozone absorption rate was increased to 85%, which greatly improved the treatment effect.  

In addition, porous titanium plates can also be used as various filters, reverse osmosis devices, and medical materials.  In short, porous titanium plate, a new material, has shown its strong vitality and will be widely used in all aspects of life in the future.
