The titanium filter material, comprising tube and plate types, is a micro-filter made from raw sponge titanium powder. The material undergoes a process of sieving, molding, and high-temperature vacuum sintering. The titanium powder sintered filter material can be produced in multiple shapes, such as covers, caps, sheets, tubes, and rod-shaped filter elements, with different particle sizes and porosity according to user requirements.

High temperature alloy powder sintered filter element can be widely used in pharmaceutical industry, water treatment industry, food industry, bioengineering, chemical industry, petrochemical industry, metallurgical industry and gas purification fields due to its unique properties. Typical uses include:

1. Impurity removal filtration, decarbonization filtration and fine filtration of materials in the production process of chemical raw materials.

2. Security filtration of silicon industry, impurity removal of high temperature gas.

3. Decarbonization filtration and precision filtration of liquid products, liquid raw materials and pharmaceutical intermediates in the chemical industry, filtration and recovery of ultra-fine crystals and catalysts, precision filtration after resin adsorption, and impurity removal filtration of system heat transfer oil and materials, catalytic gas purification, etc.

Precautions for use

1. The superalloy powder sintered filter element is a consumable item. Although it is more durable than other filter elements, care should be taken not to scratch, touch, smash, or drop during the cleaning and disassembly process to prevent man-made damage. It is strictly forbidden to use tools to apply force to the surface of the filter element.

2. Under normal circumstances, the filtrate is filtered from the outside to the inside of the filter element, and reverse filtration is not recommended.

3. When filtering, slowly pressurize to the required working pressure, and it is strictly forbidden to open the valve to quickly pressurize.

4. When the maximum working pressure is less than or equal to 3MPa, and the filtration efficiency is lower than 50%, it is necessary to use clean air or clean liquid to backflush online in time.

5. When performing backflushing and backflushing of the superalloy powder sintered filter element, generally use pure gas to backflush first. The backflushing pressure is 1.2-1.5 times the working pressure. The backflushing time is 3-5 seconds each time, and the operation is repeated 4- After 6 times, backwash with cleaning solution, backwash for 3-5 minutes, 2-3 times.

6. If the pressure loss of the filter element is still serious after the online backflushing and backwashing, it should be removed in time for cleaning.

The cleaning method

The titanium metal powder sintered filter element can be regenerated and cleaned by physical and chemical methods according to the pollution situation and the chemical properties of the pollutants combined with the physical and chemical properties of the superalloy.

The physical method mainly adopts:

Clean liquid backflush, clean gas backflush and ultrasonic cleaning. The chemical method mainly uses: dilute acid, dilute alkali, oxidant, surfactant, enzyme and other cleaning agents. The above methods can also be used interchangeably.

According to several common applications, cleaning methods are as follows:

1. For decarbonization and filtration in the silicon industry and chemical industry, backflushing and backwashing methods combined with ultrasonic cleaning are often used to achieve the best results.

2. In the water production industry, because most of the water-insoluble salts and oxides retained on the surface of the filter element are soaked in 5% nitric acid, the cleaning effect can be achieved without ultrasonic cleaning.

3. Filtration of raw liquid should be combined with the chemical properties of pollutants, and the following methods should be used for cleaning:

(1) Alkaline washing: soak in 3-5% sodium hydroxide analytically pure solution for 30-60 minutes at a temperature of about 40 degrees, which is the best in ultrasonic cleaning machines. After soaking, rinse the inside and outside with filtered deionized water or water for injection to neutrality, and measure the conductivity. Dry with pure air ≥0.4MPa pressure.

(2) Pickling: soak in 5% nitric acid solution for more than 8 hours, and the temperature is about 40 degrees. Best in ultrasonic cleaners. After soaking, rinse the inside and outside with filtered deionized water or water for injection to neutrality and lateral conductivity. Dry with pure air ≥0.4MPa pressure.

(3) Organic pollutants can be cleaned with surfactants, and the cell debris pollution system combined with enzyme cleaning is more effective (food and beverages can be cleaned with high-concentration citric acid).

(4) The above methods can be used alone or alternately with each other. If conditions permit, it is best to combine with an ultrasonic cleaner.

Note: Frequent online backflushing (purified compressed air or filtered stock solution or clean water for online cleaning) can reduce the number of cleanings by the above methods.
