Titanium anode is one of the Dimensionally stable anodes (DSA), which are also called dimensionally stable electrodes (DSE), precious metal-coated titanium anodes (PMTA), noble metal-coated anode (NMCA), oxide-coated titanium anode (OCTA), or activated titanium anode (ATA), are composed of a thin layer (a few micrometres) of mixed metal oxides (MMO) such as RuO2, IrO2, PbO2, Ta2O5 on titanium metals.

EXAMPLE APPLICATIONS
Seawater electrolysis, horizontal plating, pulse plating, cathode protection. Caustic soda production, chlorate industry, organic synthesis, sodium hypochlorite production, seawater electrolysis, metal electrowinning, production of chlorine by electrolysis, and metal plating. Foil production, high-speed electroplating, auxiliary anode, cathode protection, organic synthesis, acid water electrolysis, metal surface treatment, electrodialysis, noble metal electrowinning, horizontal plating, pulse plating.
Notes on Titanium Anode:
1. The normal working current density of the coated titanium anode is less than 500A/m2, and the service life of the titanium anode is inversely proportional to the current density;
2. The electrolyte cannot contain cyanide ions and fluoride ions;
3. The cathode and anode, the pole spacing can be set according to the specific situation, generally 5~25mm;
4. It is strictly forbidden to use the reverse pole. Once the precious metal oxide coating is used as a cathode, a reduction reaction occurs on the surface, and it is easy to be converted into a metal element.
The coating is peeled off;
5. The temperature of the electrolyte should not be too high when working, and the best working temperature is 25~50℃;
6. When shutting down, the titanium anode should not be immersed in the solution for a long time after power off. The titanium anode should be taken out and the plate should be washed with clean water before storing or maintaining it.
2-5A full-cycle small current to protect the plate;
7. During installation and handling, the coating surface shall not be scratched.
