Titanium electrode The full name of the titanium anode is titanium-based metal oxide coated titanium 

anode (MMO). Also called a DSA anode (dimension shape stable anode). It uses titanium as the

electrocatalytic activity and conductivity.

Compared with the original graphite anode and lead anode, the titanium electrode has the following 

advantages:

stable cell voltage;

2. High catalytic activity and low working voltage;

3. The working voltage is low, so the power consumption is small, and the DC power consumption can 

be reduced by 10%---20%;

4. Titanium anodes have a long working life. Metal anodes in the chlorine gas industry produced by the 

diaphragm method are resistant to chlorine and alkali corrosion. The life of the anode has reached 

more than 5 to 7 years, while the graphite anode is only 8 months;

5. It can overcome the dissolution problem of graphite anode and lead anode, and avoid the pollution 

of electrolyte and cathode products, thus greatly improving the purity of metal products;

6. It can increase the current density and increase the electrolysis efficiency;

Titanium anode classification:

1. Distinguish according to the gas released from the anode in the electrochemical reaction. Chlorine 

anodes that release chlorine gas, such as ruthenium-based coated titanium electrodes, are called 

oxygen-evolving anodes, such as iridium-based coated titanium electrodes and platinum titanium 

meshes. /plate. Chlorine analysis anode (ruthenium-based coated titanium electrode): the electrolyte 

contains high chloride ion content, and is generally used in hydrochloric acid environments, 

electrolytic seawater, and electrolytic saline environment. The corresponding products of our company

2. Oxygen evolution anode (iridium-coated titanium electrode): the electrolyte is generally sulfuric acid 

environment. The corresponding products of our company are iridium tantalum anode, iridium 

tantalum tin titanium anode, and high iridium titanium anode.

3. Platinum-coated anode: titanium as the base material. The surface is coated with platinum and the 

the thickness of the coating is generally 0.5-5μm, and the mesh size of the platinum titanium mesh is 

generally 12.5×4.5mm or 6×3.5mm.

  • Brief introduction of the production process

1. Select the TA1 grade titanium substrate, and make sure that the surface of the substrate is smooth and smooth, without defects such as scratches, peeling, cracking, and delamination.

2. Carry out mechanical processing on the selected titanium substrate, and process it into the specification and size required by the customer.

3. Perform annealing and leveling treatment on the titanium substrate at a temperature of 600°C.

4. During the annealing and leveling treatment, a dense titanium oxide layer will be formed on the 

the surface of the titanium substrate, which is mechanically polished to make the surface have a 

metallic the luster of titanium.

5. Use a 10% concentration of oxalic acid to pickle and corrode the titanium substrate, and carry out 10 

hours in a slightly boiling state, so that the surface oxide layer is etched into the surface of the titanium 

hydride.

6. Perform reasonable qualitative and quantitative configuration of precious metal solutions according 

to the anode environment used by customers.

7. Check that the pickling titanium base material is qualified, that is, the surface layer is a gray uniform 

pockmarked structure, and then carry out manual coating, and sintering according to the set 

appropriate temperature, naturally cool after sintering out of the furnace, and apply the second coating 

when it cools to room temperature Squeeze, and so on, until more than 18 to 22 times to apply the 

configuration solution.

8. After the sintering of the above-mentioned processed parts is completed, the test piece with the
