Product Introduction

Flanges are parts that connect pipes and pipes and valves to each other, and are connected to pipe ends; they are also useful for flanges on equipment inlets and outlets. They are used for the connection between two pieces of equipment and are parts that connect pipes to pipes at the pipe end. It is an accessory product of the pipeline. The main materials of forged flanges are carbon steel, alloy steel, titanium alloy, and stainless steel. The main standards are national standards, electric standards, American standards, German standards, Japanese standards, and so on. The main anti-corrosion treatments are oiling and galvanizing. Forged flanges have better pressure and temperature resistance, and are generally suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature working environments.

A titanium flange is a part made of non-ferrous metal titanium or titanium alloy that connects pipes to pipes and is connected to the pipe end.

There are holes in the titanium flange, and the bolts make the two flanges tightly connected. The flanges are sealed with gaskets. Flanged pipe fittings refer to pipe fittings with flanges (flanges or lands).

It can be cast, screwed, or welded. A flange connection consists of a pair of flanges, a gasket and several bolts and nuts. The gasket is placed between the sealing surfaces of the two flanges. After the nut is tightened, the specific pressure on the surface of the gasket reaches a certain value and then deforms, and fills the unevenness on the sealing surface to make the connection tight.

Grade: TA1, TA2, TA10, TC4

The production process is mainly divided into forging and casting.

Cast and Forged Flanges

For the cast flange, the shape and size of the blank are accurate, the processing amount is small, and the cost is low, but there are casting defects (pores, cracks, inclusions); the internal structure of the casting is poorly streamlined (if it is a cutting part, the streamlined form is even worse);

Forged flanges generally have lower carbon content than cast flanges and are not easy to rust. Forgings have better-streamlined shapes, denser structures, and better mechanical properties than cast flanges;


An improper forging process will also cause large or uneven grains, and hardening cracks and the cost of forging is higher than that of cast flanges.

Forgings can withstand higher shear and tensile forces than castings.

The advantage of castings is that they can produce more complex shapes, and the cost is relatively low;

The advantage of forgings is that the internal structure is uniform, and there are no harmful defects such as pores and inclusions in castings;


The difference between the cast flange and the forged flange is distinguished from the production process. For example, the centrifugal flange is a kind of cast flange.

Centrifugal flange belongs to the production flange of the precision casting method. Compared with ordinary sand casting, the structure of this kind of casting is much thinner, the quality is much improved, and it is not easy to have problems such as loose structure, pores, and trachoma.

Corrosion-resistant pipes, valves, pumps, corrosion-resistant structural parts and stamping parts for ships, seawater desalination system components, chemical heat exchangers, pump bodies, distillation towers, cooling towers, mixers, etc.

1. Flat welding flanges, neck butt welding flanges, and integral flanges are matched with valves.

2. Neck flat welding and socket welding flanges are used in petrochemical plants.

3. Threaded flanges are commonly used in engineering construction, and are easy to install without welding.

4. Loose flanges and flange covers are used in corrosive piping systems. (The flange cover is used at the end of the pipe or as a head)
