Platinized titanium felt is a high-performance porous transport layer (PTL) specifically engineered for PEM water electrolyzers used in green hydrogen production.

 

As a critical component on the anode side, it must withstand strong acidic environments, high oxidation potential, and high current density while maintaining stable electrical conductivity, efficient mass transfer, and long-term durability.

 

TOPTITECH's platinized titanium sintered felt is manufactured from high-purity titanium fiber substrates with a uniform, tightly bonded platinum coating, designed to eliminate passivation, reduce cell voltage, improve gas-water transport, and extend electrolyzer stack life. It is a suitable replacement for carbon-based diffusion layers, which rapidly corrode and degrade under PEM anode operating conditions.
