Corrosion of metal surface by multilayer metal sintering wire mesh(2)

What are the advantages of stainless steel sintering mesh filter element?

The stainless steel sintering mesh filter element offers several advantages. It is a novel filter material constructed from multiple layers of stainless steel mesh, providing high strength and overall durability. The wire mesh layers are staggered, creating a uniform and optimal filter structure. Typically, the stainless steel sintering mesh consists of five layers, including a protective layer, filter layer, separation layer, and support layer. This filter material exhibits consistent and stable filtration accuracy, as well as exceptional strength, stiffness, and pressure resistance. Consequently, it fulfills the requirements for high-pressure applications and precise filtration particle sizes, making it an ideal choice for various filtration needs.

The welding process for stainless steel filter elements necessitates high precision. Even slight deviations can result in damage and significantly increase the scrap rate. Different welding techniques, such as argon arc welding, spot welding, ion welding, and tin welding, are employed depending on the environmental conditions. Tin welding, in particular, requires skill and expertise, which can be acquired through practical training. Adequate preparation and attention to detail contribute to successful tin welding, making the operation more efficient.

When welding these two types of metal mesh filter elements, it is crucial to ensure a secure and immobile solder joint until the solder solidifies. Handling the weld with tweezers should be done cautiously, waiting for the solder to solidify completely before removing the tweezers. During the solidification process, which follows a crystallization theory, any movement or external force applied to the solder can disrupt the crystallization conditions, resulting in a coarse crystal structure known as "cold welding." This phenomenon manifests as a dull surface appearance, loose internal solder joint structure, and increased susceptibility to air gaps and cracks. To maintain solder strength and conductivity, the solder must remain undisturbed until solidification. Proper fixation methods or reliable holding measures can be employed during practical operations.

The stainless steel sintering wire mesh we produce at TopTiTech exhibits the following structural characteristics:

1) Standard five-layer configuration: composed of a protective layer, filter layer, separation layer, and two-layer support layer.
2) High strength and rigidity: possesses excellent mechanical and compressive strength.
3) Uniform and stable filtration accuracy: provides consistent filtration performance within a nominal particle size accuracy range of 1 to 300 μm, maintaining mesh integrity during use.
4) Versatile application in various environments: withstands temperatures ranging from -200°C to 650°C and resists corrosion from acidic and alkaline environments.
5) Easy and effective cleaning: allows for countercurrent cleaning methods, including water, filtrate, ultrasonic, dissolution, and baking, resulting in extended service life.
