Advantages of titanium rod filter element and precautions for installation and use

The titanium rod filter element is crafted from high-purity titanium and undergoes a specialized process of high-temperature vacuum sintering. This exceptional filtration component finds extensive utility in various industries such as pharmaceuticals, water treatment, food production, bioengineering, chemicals, petroleum, metallurgy,, and gas purification. Let's explore the key attributes that make it stand out:

67

Precise Pore Size Distribution: The filter element boasts a narrow distribution of pore sizes, ensuring high separation efficiency and a uniform structure.

Enhanced Filtration Performance: With its high porosity, the element offers minimal filtration resistance and achieves remarkable penetration efficiency.

High-Temperature Resistance: Capable of withstanding temperatures below 280 degrees Celsius, the titanium rod filter element maintains its functionality even in demanding heat conditions.

Chemical Resistance: It exhibits excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, and oxidation, displaying remarkable chemical stability.

Robust Mechanical Performance: The filter element demonstrates superior mechanical strength, enabling both suction and pressurized filtration with ease of operation.

Antimicrobial Properties: It possesses strong antimicrobial capabilities, effectively preventing microbial growth and contamination.

Superior Manufacturing: The finished product exhibits excellent craftsmanship, allowing for overall lengths of up to 1000mm.

Easy Maintenance and Longevity: The element supports online regeneration, facilitating convenient cleaning and ensuring a prolonged service life.

Particle Retention and Hygiene: The filter element prevents particle shedding, eliminating the risk of secondary pollution, and adheres to food hygiene and pharmaceutical GMP requirements.

Low Differential Pressure: Despite its small coverage area, the titanium rod filter element maintains a significant water flow rate while minimizing pressure differentials.

While the titanium rod filter offers numerous advantages, proper attention is required during installation. Consider the following guidelines:

Handle with Care: Treat the titanium filter element as a consumable item, taking care to avoid scratching, touching, smashing, or dropping it during cleaning and disassembly. Never apply force to the surface using tools.

Filtration Direction: Preferably, filter the fluid from the outside to the inside of the element, avoiding reverse filtration.

Controlled Pressurization: Gradually increase pressure to the designated working pressure, strictly avoiding sudden valve opening for rapid pressurization.

Backflushing: If filtration efficiency drops below 50%, promptly backflush the element using clean air or liquid as per prescribed procedures.

Backflushing Process: Initiate backflushing with pure gas, applying a pressure of 1.2-1.5 times the working pressure. Each backflushing cycle should last 3-5 seconds, repeating 4-6 times. Follow this with backwashing using a cleaning solution for 3-5 minutes, conducting 2-3 cycles.

Excessive Pressure Loss: Should the filter element experience significant pressure loss despite online backflushing, it should be promptly removed.
