Sintered titanium filters are manufactured using 99.6+ % pure titanium powders. Depending on the desired filter morphology, the powders are compressed through isostatic pressing, uniaxial pressing, or roll-compacting. The resulting green body is then subjected to sintering in a furnace to produce the final sintered filter.
The titanium rod filter element utilizes corrosion-resistant titanium rods, making it highly resistant to high temperatures and impacts. It is non-toxic, does not shed particles or adsorb liquid components, and offers a long service life (typically 4-5 years). The titanium rod filter element is easy to clean and renewable. It employs deep filtration, forming a dense filter layer with gaps on the surface of the titanium rod, effectively filtering particles. Additionally, particles smaller than the pore size of the titanium rod can be tightly captured on the channel walls, enhancing the filtration accuracy. The titanium rod filter shell is constructed from high-quality 316L or 304 stainless steel, featuring a mirror-polished interior and exterior.

Compacted pre-graded Titanium powder:
Sintered metal filters are constructed using precisely graded titanium powder. This powder undergoes compaction and sintering, a high-heat process that bonds the particles without melting them. The result is a robust, porous metal structure with exceptional strength and filtration performance.
Welded end-caps prevent filtrate bypass:
Titanium filters feature integrally welded end-caps, eliminating the risk of filtrate bypass. This ensures that all fluid passes through the filter media, maximizing filtration efficiency and preventing contamination of the filtrate. This leak-proof design is essential for maintaining process integrity and achieving reliable results.


Non-particle shedding:
For applications requiring minimal contamination, sintered titanium filters are ideal due to their non-particle-shedding characteristic. Unlike some filter materials that release particles during use, sintered titanium filters maintain a clean surface, minimizing potential contamination of the filtrate and ensuring product purity.
Backwashing enables 100% removal of captured solids:
Sintered titanium filters offer excellent regenerability. They can be effectively backwashed, dislodging captured solids, and enabling near-complete removal. This reduces downtime and maintenance costs compared to filters that require complete replacement.

Filtration Principle
When the filter medium enters the filter cartridge through the liquid inlet, impurities are initially trapped by the surface of the titanium rod, forming a dense filter layer. This filter cake layer contributes to the filtration process.
Simultaneously, particles smaller than the diameter of the titanium rod's pores enter the micropores on the rod walls. The intricate and circuitous nature of these curved and slender pores, combined with fluid flow-induced extrusion and collision, facilitates effective particle capture. This deep filtration occurs within the titanium rod, as impurities are intercepted on its outer surface and inner wall.
The filtered material exits through the outlet. As impurities accumulate within the filter cartridge, the pressure increases. Regeneration of the filter titanium rod is required once the pressure reaches 0.3MPa.
