Titanium Mesh Gas Filtration
Twill weave
And dense weave
Titanium mesh finds applications in various industries such as high-temperature resistant filters, shipbuilding, military manufacturing, chemical filters, mechanical filters, electromagnetic shielding networks, seawater desalination filters, high-temperature electric furnace heat treatment support networks, oil filters, food processing, and medicine filters.
There are three weaving methods available: plain weave, twill weave, and dense weave. Due to challenges in drawing titanium wire, the thinnest currently achievable in domestic production is 0.05mm. Titanium wire exhibits low elongation, high strength, high elasticity, and low flexibility, which poses limitations on the production of high-mesh titanium mesh. The specifications of titanium mesh range from 1 mesh to 400 mesh.
Types of mesh
Plain titanium mesh:
The plain weave method is the most commonly used weaving technique for titanium mesh. It is characterized by having the same diameter for both the warp and weft wires, resulting in a uniform density throughout the mesh.
Twill titanium mesh:
Twill titanium mesh is woven using slightly thicker titanium wires compared to plain weaves. This results in a stronger mesh with enhanced tensile strength, making it suitable for industries such as petroleum, chemical, chemical fiber, and aerospace. Twill titanium mesh exhibits excellent properties such as acid resistance, alkali resistance, high-temperature resistance, and wear resistance.
Titanium dense mesh:
Dense titanium mesh, available in both plain weave and twill weave, offers consistent filtering performance and fine mesh qualities. It finds applications in industries such as aerospace, petroleum, and chemical industries.
Plain weave: In the plain weave method, each warp wire crosses above and below each weft wire, with both wires having the same thickness. The warp and weft wires are interwoven at a 90-degree angle.

Twill weaving: weaving in which each warp thread crosses above and below two weft threads, and each weft thread crosses above and below two weft threads.

Titanium Mesh uses:
It finds application in sieving and filtering processes within environments that involve acid and alkali substances, providing resistance to corrosion and maintaining filtration efficiency.
In the petroleum industry, it is utilized as mud mesh for filtration purposes. The chemical fiber industry employs it for screens, while the electroplating industry utilizes it as pickling mesh for various processes.
Within the industrial and construction sectors, it is employed for screening sand and filtering liquids and gases, aiding in the separation and purification of materials.
The papermaking and printing industry also makes use of titanium mesh, potentially for applications such as drying or maintaining consistent paper thickness during production processes.
