Looking back at the origins of this revolution, we can identify three key driving forces behind it.

Firstly, the unique properties of titanium make it a material with great potential in the consumer electronics sector. Its lightweight yet durable nature, high safety standards, remarkable strength, non-magnetic characteristics, high corrosion resistance, and distinctive metallic surface have positioned titanium as the ideal electronic material in the minds of many engineers.

Secondly, the thriving development of the titanium industry in China has provided robust support for the application of titanium in the consumer electronics sector. Despite the challenges of high smelting difficulty and cost, industry practitioners in the titanium sector have continuously accumulated experience, transitioning from the initial stages to high-end products through steady innovation, offering the market high-quality and relatively affordable titanium materials.

Lastly, the emergence of titanium in the consumer electronics sector has also been fueled by the rapid advancement of technology in China. Particularly since 2013, the swift iterations of smart electronic products have created new opportunities for the development of the titanium industry. With intense competition among major manufacturers, the integration of titanium into electronic products has become a natural progression.

The utilization of titanium in the casings of high-end electronic products represents a significant area of application for this metal. Recently, there have been reports about the upcoming Huawei Mate70 series adopting the classic "Star Ring Design" and potentially introducing a titanium alloy variant for the first time. If this comes to fruition, it would mark Huawei's first model to incorporate titanium. Additionally, several high-end smart consumer electronic products such as the iPhone 15 Pro, Xiaomi 14 Pro, and Apple Watch Ultra 2 have also integrated titanium alloys into their designs.
