Titanium alloy metal powder sintered filter element from Toptitech(1)

Metal powder titanium alloy is a molten form of titanium alloy that meets the requirements for metal smelting. It undergoes atomization processes such as atomization, rotating electrode method, or vacuum decompression atomization to convert it into powder. The powder is then hot extruded into rods and subjected to hot isostatic pressing, resulting in the formation of titanium alloy turbine discs, aircraft keel joints, or materials used in seawater desalination units. This alloy exhibits high strength, good heat resistance at moderate temperatures, corrosion resistance, and abundant resource reserves. As a result, it finds widespread applications in industries such as aviation, chemicals, metallurgy, medicine, and marine engineering.

The titanium alloy metal powder sintered filter element is a microfiltration component produced using industrial high-purity titanium powder (purity ≥ 99.7%) as the primary raw material. The process involves sieving, cold isostatic pressing, and high-temperature and high-vacuum sintering. It is also known as a titanium rod filter element, titanium metal filter element, or microporous titanium rod filter element. The structure of this element is relatively uniform and can be customized into various shapes using specialized molds. The material's surface contains numerous open pores with uniform pore diameters, resulting in high porosity, low filtration resistance, excellent material permeability, and favorable physical properties. While similar to stainless steel powder filter elements belonging to the category of metal powder sintered filter elements, the titanium alloy variant is easier to form and sinter, making it superior in performance. Its advantages are particularly evident in high-temperature environments up to 100 degrees Celsius, enabling its extensive use in the separation and purification of solids, liquids, and gases across different media.

The titanium alloy metal powder sintered filter element represents a novel type of filter material and filter element based on inorganic materials science. Its production involves sintering into a single shape without the need for cutting. It offers high filtration precision, good air permeability, high mechanical strength, and a high material reuse rate. It is especially suitable for complex component structures. In recent years, titanium alloy metal powder sintered filter elements have emerged as ideal alternatives to organic filter materials, surpassing PP, PE, PA, PES, PTFE, and other separation elements. Our company can manufacture titanium alloy metal powder sintered filter elements in various shapes, structures, particle sizes, and filtration precisions, including rod-shaped, tubular, sheet-shaped, cap-shaped, and cap-shaped filter elements, among others. These filter elements find extensive applications in industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, biotechnology, machinery, and food.
