What is the difference between NICKEL 200 and NICKEL 201?

◢ NICKEL 200

NICKEL 200 is an alloy with extremely high purity, containing at least 99.5% nickel. This alloy exhibits good magnetism at room temperature, excellent corrosion resistance in alkaline and neutral environments, and maintains mechanical performance at high temperatures.

In terms of applications, NICKEL 200 is commonly used in the chemical industry for manufacturing chemical processing equipment such as reactors and distillation columns. Additionally, it finds widespread use in food processing equipment, electronic devices, and the aerospace industry.

Compared to NICKEL 200, NICKEL 201 has lower carbon content. This characteristic makes NICKEL 201 perform better in certain acidic environments and exhibit improved ductility during cold working.

NICKEL 201 is typically employed in chemical processing, suitable for environments that demand extremely low carbon content. Furthermore, due to its higher electrical resistivity, NICKEL 201 is used in manufacturing electronic components like resistors and conductors.
