TOPTITECH has developed a new 316L porous sparger recently.
The stainless steel sparger is a distinctive substance that finds wide application as a gas disperser in bioreactors. The substance is created by fusing stainless steel particles to generate a highly permeable arrangement with a standardized pore size, enabling effective gas dispersion in bioreactors.

Obtaining optimal mass transfer of gases, such as oxygen or carbon dioxide, is a daunting task in bioreactor systems. Merely relying on agitation is inadequate for achieving the desired mass transfer. However, the incorporation of TOPTITECH's permeable metallic sparger can considerably enhance mass transfer rates in this type of equipment.
