What is the production process of titanium porous plate (PTL)?
The fabrication of titanium porous plates involves a meticulous series of steps, each crucial in shaping the quality and functionality of the final product.
1. Raw Material Control Phase:
The process begins with strict control over raw materials. This includes receiving the materials, testing the titanium powder for granularity, verifying uniform mixing, and storing qualified materials for further use.
2. Forming Process Stage:
Next, the raw materials are combined and shaped through a rolling mill process. The formed billets undergo scrutiny for quality before advancing to the sintering stage.
3. Sintering Process Phase:
Sintering is the core of production. Green compacts are loaded into furnaces for thermal treatment. Temperatures rise gradually at 2°C per minute, reaching a high-temperature sintering phase at 1300°C ±10°C. Controlled cooling follows, not exceeding 5°C per minute, concluding with post-treatment like laser cutting.
4. Product Inspection and Packaging:
The final stages involve thorough inspection and packaging. Surface checks ensure smoothness, while edge protection is verified for structural integrity.
After these detailed stages, the titanium porous plates are ready for use, embodying industry standards of precision and quality.
