Maintenance and repair of microporous filter

Precision microporous filter

The filter element is the key component of the precision microporous filter. It is made of specialized materials and requires proper protection as it is a wearable part. Over time, the filter element accumulates a certain amount of contaminants, resulting in increased pressure and reduced flow rate. It is crucial to promptly clean the filter element and remove impurities.

When dealing with impurities, it is essential to handle the precision filter element with great care. If it becomes deformed or damaged, the filtered medium may not meet the design criteria when the filter element is replaced. Certain precision filter elements like bag filter elements and melt-blown filter elements cannot be reused and must be replaced immediately if found damaged or distorted.

The filter element is also the central component of the coarse filtration microporous filter. It consists of a filter frame and a stainless steel wire mesh. The stainless steel wire mesh is a wearable part that requires special protection.

As the filter operates over time, impurities accumulate in the filter element, leading to increased pressure and decreased flow rate. It is necessary to remove impurities from the filter element promptly.

During the impurity cleaning process, special attention must be paid to prevent deformation or damage to the stainless steel wire mesh. Otherwise, the filtered medium's purity will not meet the design requirements, and equipment such as compressors, pumps, and instruments may suffer damage. Whenever the stainless steel wire mesh becomes distorted or damaged, it should be replaced immediately.

The microporous filter offers high filtration precision, rapid transition speed, minimal adsorption, no medium shedding, resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, convenient operation, and a wide range of applications. Its importance continues to grow.

Microporous filters are extensively utilized in essential equipment across various industries, including medicine, chemical industry, electronics, beverages, fruit wine, biochemical water treatment, and environmental protection. Therefore, maintaining these filters is crucial not only for improving filtration accuracy but also for prolonging their service life.
