The operational principle of the multi-core backwash filter is essentially similar to that of the self-cleaning filter, with a few key distinctions:
1. The multi-core design features a single shell housing multiple filter elements, allowing for control of the quantity based on the flow rate. This configuration effectively doubles the filter area, as each shell is equipped with an independent assembly of filter elements. This provides a larger surface area for filtration, ensuring efficient interception of particles while maintaining low average differential pressure.
2. Unlike self-cleaning filters that employ brushes or scrapers to clean the inner walls of the filter cartridge, the multi-core backwash filter utilizes filtered clean water for backwashing.
The individual filter elements are sequentially filtered and backwashed one by one, preventing the filter from reaching critical levels of contamination. The backwashing process is rapid and thorough, and with a set of filter elements always on standby, the system pressure remains nearly constant.
Features of precision filter and security filter equipment:
1. Both types of filters, equipped with sintered filter elements, consist of stainless steel shells (304 or 316L) and sintered filter elements. The shell surface is double-mirror polished. The number of filter elements varies based on the size of the inlet and outlet pipes, ranging from 1, 3, and 5 to dozens of elements. The length of the filter elements also varies, with options such as 10 inches, 20 inches, and 40 inches. The filter elements feature international standard sockets such as 222, 226 flat head, and flange, providing flexibility for users to choose.
2. The inlet and outlet pipes can be connected to the working pipeline using various interfaces such as quick opening, flange, or inner wire. If customers require a special joint specification, it can be processed separately.

Advantages:
1. The filter is easy to operate, occupies minimal space, and is straightforward to install.
2. The filtration area per unit flow rate is relatively large, resulting in low filtration resistance and high filtration efficiency.
3. The filter offers high filtration precision, suitable for capturing fine particles or suspended matter, with a filtration range from 1 to 800 microns.
4. The metal filter elements can be easily cleaned and reused, contributing to their popularity among customers.
How to clean the sintered filter elements?
If the pressure loss remains significant after online backflushing or backwashing of the supporting equipment for metal powder sintered filter elements, it should be promptly removed for cleaning.
1. The sintered mesh filter element is a consumable item. While it is more durable than other filter elements, caution should be exercised during cleaning and disassembly to avoid scratching or causing any damage.
2. Currently, the preferred cleaning method for sintered mesh filter elements is ultrasonic high-frequency vibration, which effectively removes accumulated dirt from the surface of the filter element.
3. Filter elements regenerated through high-temperature calcination/roasting exhibit superior filtration performance compared to those regenerated through ultrasonic cleaning. This method significantly reduces the filter element's pressure difference, prolonging its service life and restoring it to optimal condition for reuse. However, it comes at a relatively higher cost.
Regardless of the cleaning method used, the cleaned filter element must undergo a bubble test to identify any substandard products for replacement and elimination.
