The four standard interfaces for the porous metal filter cartridges

Titanium powder sintered filter cartridges typically have several common interface types, today TOPTITECH will give you a detailed introduction:

Threaded interface: One end of the filter cartridge can be designed with a threaded interface to connect with the corresponding threaded interface in the filter housing or filtration equipment. Common threaded interface types include NPT (National Pipe Thread), BSP (British Standard Pipe), and Metric threads.

Flanged interface: One end of the filter cartridge can be designed with a flanged interface to connect with a flange in the filter housing or filtration equipment. Flanged interfaces typically use standard flange sizes and mounting hole patterns, such as ANSI (American National Standards Institute) or DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) standards.

Clamp interface: The outer diameter of the filter cartridge can be designed to match a clamp interface, allowing the filter cartridge to be clamped in place using a clamping device in the filtration equipment. Clamp interfaces often utilize a circular metal clamping mechanism to secure the filter cartridge in the appropriate position.

Elastic seal interface: One end of the filter cartridge can be designed with an elastic seal interface to ensure a tight seal with the filtration equipment during installation. This type of interface is commonly used in applications where elastic sealing is required to prevent leakage or infiltration.

It is important to note that the specific interface type and design depend on the size of the filter cartridge, application requirements, and the design specifications of the filtration equipment. When selecting and designing the filter cartridge interface, it is recommended to refer to relevant international standards or consult with the filter cartridge manufacturer or filtration equipment supplier to ensure proper installation and compatibility with the filtration system.
