What is sintered stainless steel fiber felt filters?
-
The backwash regeneration characteristics of stainless steel fiber sintered felt filter elements are determined by their construction and material properties. These filter elements typically utilize stainless steel fiber sintered felt and stainless steel square mesh as the primary filter materials. The sealing interfaces are carefully welded using argon arc welding, while the straight seams employ plasma automatic welding to ensure high-quality welds without defects like slag, bending, or leakage. Before processing each layer of the filter screen, a light transmission test is conducted to ensure the quality of the stainless steel filters. Filter elements with inadequate light transmission are deemed unsuitable for use. -
To maximize the filtration efficiency, the filter elements are constructed using a multi-pleated folding process. This process increases the filter area by three to five times without increasing the overall size of the element. After the welding process, each filter element undergoes thorough testing to ensure compliance with specified requirements. For applications involving high pollution content in liquid/solid separation operations, these filters are designed with a multi-layer combination structure. The filtration mechanism relies on surface mesh and filter cake capture. -
The sintered felt filter element consists of a single layer of finer wire mesh that provides direct interception filtration. The gradual formation of the filter cake enhances the ability to capture smaller particles. The filter material has a uniform and regular surface, with smooth inner pores in the mesh. This facilitates rapid filter cake formation and simplifies the removal and separation of filter residue. Consequently, the sintered felt filter element exhibits excellent backwash regeneration characteristics, allowing for repeated long-term use. It is particularly well-suited for continuous system operation and automatic filtration processes. -

How to choose the right sintered titanium fiber felt in the filter system?
1. The filter material should not contain a high concentration of colloidal substances. Titanium fiber sintered felt is most effective for filtering rigid solid particles.
2. Pay attention to the backwash pressure applied to the titanium fiber sintered felt, keeping it within 0.3MPa to facilitate regeneration.
3. It's important to note that titanium fiber sintered felt can only separate solid and liquid phases and remove mechanical particles. It does not remove various metal ions.
4. The filter material should not have a high concentration of chloride ions.
5. Choose the titanium fiber sintered felt precision that is appropriate for you. The diameter of the selected felt should be significantly smaller than the diameter of solid impurities, aiming to prevent these impurities from entering the inner pores of the sintered felt wall.
